SIZE MATTERS :- LASER PARTICLE SIZE ANALYSIS SERVICE USING A MALVERN MASTERSIZER 2000

Malver laser particle sizer 2000

I OFFER A LASER PARTICLE SIZING SERVICE performed on one of the most up to date machines -- the MALVERN MASTERSIZER 2000.

THE MASTERSIZER ONLY USES SMALL VOLUMES OF MATERIAL -- 10 GMS MAXIMUM USUALLY LESS THEREFORE MAKING POSTAGE COSTS LOW.

The Mastersizer can perform analysis from 0.02-2000 microns using single lens detection.
The scattering of particles is accurately predicted by the Mie scattering model. This model is rigorously applied within the Mastersizer 2000 software, allowing accurate sizing across the widest possible dynamic range.

The Mastersizer conforms to the ISO 13320 standard which provides the industrial laboratory an effective method for instrument selection. Laboratories who use the standard can guarantee the accuracy and reproducibility of their measurements throughout the entire life of the instrument.

Applications of Particle Sizing
A knowledge of the particle size distribution can help assess the processability of materials.
Attrition/coagulation or other processes can be followed to ensure that products are within specification.
Analysis gives confidence to results of trials aimed at monitoring process changes
Allows product specifications to be assigned to achieve correct technical performance.
Particle size gives another indication of porosity
